The 23 from Del Bosque

The spain coach - Vicente del Bosque - has called the 23 player that will go to the Confederations Cup for the 14 June. Now that the "La Liga" finished, they can train together:

Goalies: Iker Casillas (Real Madrid), Diego López (Villarreal) and Pepe Reina (Liverpool/ENG).

Defenders: David Albiol, Carlos Marchena (Valencia), Álvaro Arbeloa (Liverpool/ENG), Joan Capdevila (Villarreal), Juanito (Betis), Gerard Piqué, Carles Puyol (Barcelona) and Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid).

Midfielders: Xabi Alonso, Albert Riera (Liverpool/ENG), Santiago Cazorla (Villarreal), Cesc Fábregas (Arsenal/ENG), Xavi Hernández, Sergio Busquets (Barcelona) David Silva and Juan Manuel Mata (Valencia).

Forwards: Daniel Güiza (Fenerbahce/TUR), Fernando Llorente (Athletic), Fernando Torres (Liverpool/ING) and David Villa (Valencia).

Confederations Cup is coming

Hi readers!

In june, The South Africa 2009 Confederations Cup will start (approximetly in 23 days) with the bests countries of each FIFA zone. They're the following teams:

USA (for winning 2007 CONCACAF)

Spain (for winning Euro 08)

Brazil (for winning Copa America 07)

Italy (for winning Germany 06)

South Africa (for being the host country)

Egpyt (for winning CAF 08)

Iraq (winning Asian Cup 07)

New Zealand (for winnning OFC Nations 07/08)

These teams will be in 2 groups (A: Spa,Nzl,Rsa, Irq; B: USA; Bra, Ita, Egy)

The 2 firsts of each group will move into 1/2 finals (1st A vs 2nd B; 2nd A vs 1st B) and the winners of those games will get to the final in which they will conquer this trophy.
