Spain's first win
From the "bajitos" play to a huge attack from both sides.
Game started well, in first 6 mins we've shot 3 times at least, one of those shots was from Villa to the post! We can't handle this Jabulani yet...

We kept having wonderful chances until halftime

Finally, Villa wanted the hat-trick, but he missed the penalty. The japanese referee didn't see a couple of them, we could have scored more goals yet.
2-0, enough result to win 1-0 against Chile on Friday 25th, tho we should have scored 3 or 4 at least
Bad game against Switzerland
Last Wednesday, Spain debutted against the Alps' country. We've had a couple of good chances while dominating with 75% Jabulani control (XD) Goals didn't come and it was desesperating. I'm sure if we had scored the first goal, we'd have scored a few more... but no. 0-0 at the half time.

The best chance came with Xabi Alonso, his 25-metre-long shot knocked the post!!

Minutes were passing, switzerland had another post, spain was always attacking but no goals went it.

Here Spain comes!
After the last 3 pre-cup won matches (2-3 against Saudi Arabia, 1-0 against South Korea and 6-0 against Poland), Spain has arrived as last national team to South Africa. concretely in Potchefstroom.
Brazil consider us as the favourite team. Now the cup is started, the football show is very spectacular and amazing. Everyone is looking to South Africa and their happiness, tho we couldn't see Mandela in the opening match :(
Spain will be the last team who is going to start the world cup.

Iniesta is working harder at recovering to be ready against Swiss team.
Xabi Alonso, Piqué, Busquets and Xavi Hernandez are still working inside the gym.
All the spanish people hope that Spain has been the last one coming and the last one in leaving.
Around 7,000 africans are supporting Spain in a city "safer" than Johannesburg.
For the moment, most teams are trying not to be scored against, which could also mean Spain is stronger than them.

Euro 2012 Qualification Groups
Not many things happened since Conf Cup 2009. I already talked about on PS the RFEF's hundred years.
Last month (sorry for this late - i haven't been too much on PS) UEFA made the qualification groups for the future Poland-Ukraine Euro 2012. If you're a fan of Spain, you must see the following group:
Group I:
Spain (favourite)
Czech Republic
Scotland
Lithuania
Liechtenstein (Cinderella)
Czechs and Scottish could give some troubles under surprise, but Spain should win them easily.
The qualification will start in September 2010 (after World Cup) and will probably finish November 2011 (not confirmed).
Until World Cup starts, Spain will play a friendly match against those who knocked us in 1/8 finals in 2006 World Cup - France.
